I am often reminded of Alexis de Tocquevilles famous words that, “The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” Today we are reminded how true this statement really is. We must work together to restore common sense, no-nonsense values back to Washington before we loose this Republic all together.
I adamantly oppose this Liberal Congress’ tax and spend ways. As a small businessman, I understand how harmful they can be. It should be a fundamental principle of all elected officials that the American people get to keep more of what they earn. Period.
This country was built on sound principles of “free enterprise”, “small business” and “community involvement”. Hard work, opportunities and timely resources are cornerstones to re-igniting American Business. We must return to an environment which fosters citizens to provide for, invest in, be responsible for and enjoy the fruits of their labor. Increased taxes, which are now under consideration, discourage self reliance and personal accountability.
I will do my best to minimize your tax burden and l will fight to make sure that your tax dollars are used wisely, without prejudice.
